Yes, I continue running sessions throughout the summer holidays. Consistency plays a vital role in children's learning, and regular tuition helps maintain momentum, reinforce key skills, and prevent learning loss over extended breaks. By continuing support during the holidays, children can return to school feeling confident, prepared, and ready to build on their progress.
For pupils preparing for the 11+ or entrance exams, regular homework is an important and expected part of the preparation process. For all other children, I work in partnership with parents to decide what is most beneficial. I recognise that homework can sometimes create pressure at home, so I view my sessions as meaningful additional learning in themselves. If you would like your child to complete work between sessions, I am always happy to provide appropriate homework and practice activities tailored to your family's preferences.
